Visit The Marine Mammal Center’s Sea Lion Spot, the hub for all things sea lion at PIER 39. The Sea Lion Spot is located behind the sea lion viewing area (K-Dock), on Level 2.
The temporary Sea Lion Spot will remain open daily 11am to 6pm through October 16, 2023, when it will close for a major renovation. The permanent, state-of-the-art educational exhibit and retail space will open in Spring 2024.
At K-Dock, adjacent to the sea lions, conservation experts from The Marine Mammal Center are available daily 11:30am to 5pm to talk with visitors about the sea lions and share how we can all take action to protect our oceans and keep them safe.
