DIY Tie-Dye Station
Add a splash of color to your Summer of Love Weekend!
Stop by the Mid-PIER on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM to create your very own tie-dye masterpiece for FREE. Whether you’re channeling your inner flower child or just looking for a fun keepsake, this all-ages activity is the perfect way to get creative.
Bandanas will be provided, but we encourage you to bring your own items you may want to tie-dye!
One provided bandana per person. Tie-dye station is while supplies last.
Love on Haight Grand Opening & Fashion Show
Celebrate the colorful spirit of San Francisco with a special tie-dye fashion show hosted by Love on Haight! The iconic Haight-Ashbury shop will be showcasing vibrant, one-of-a-kind tie-dye looks during Summer of Love Weekend as part of the grand opening celebration of their new PIER 39 location.
Stop by to see the runway come alive with bold colors, retro vibes, and plenty of flower-power inspiration!

While you’re here, enjoy special offers and limited-time menu items from participating restaurants — many of which will be donating a portion of proceeds to The Rex Foundation, the charitable organization founded by members of the Grateful Dead, their families, and friends. Sip, stroll, and soak up the good vibes during PIER 39’s Summer of Love celebration! Guests 21+ can purchase an alcoholic beverage from participating restaurants and eateries, then enjoy their drink while wandering through the designated Entertainment Zone. Take in live music, colorful Summer of Love festivities, and iconic views of the Bay, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, and of course, the world-famous sea lions.
