What are PIER 39’s hours of operation?

How much does it cost to get into PIER 39?

PIER 39 is not a gated attraction and therefore there is no price for admission.

Is there parking at PIER 39?

Yes.  Parking is located in the PIER 39 Garage directly across the street from our Entrance. For all parking information, including current discounts, click here.

Do you have a “Lost and Found?”

Yes. Lost and Found is located at the PIER 39 Security Booth next to the Entrance Plaza. They can be reached at 415.705.5544

Do you have luggage storage available?

PIER 39 does not offer luggage storage.

Is PIER 39 an accessible facility?

PIER 39 is an accessible facility. Access areas for disabled visitors include ramps and six elevators to the second level.

What public transportation can I take to PIER 39?

What is the weather going to be like at PIER 39?

The San Francisco climate can change very quickly, so we suggest you dress in layers to accommodate both warm and cold weather. Click here to see the local weather forecast from weather.com.

Are pets allowed on PIER 39?

Please do not bring pets or other animals, with the exception of leashed service animals trained to provide assistance to guests with disabilities and/or in the company of persons claiming to be a trainer of a service animal, onto PIER 39 property.

Is fishing or crabbing allowed on PIER 39?

Fishing and crabbing is permitted off the perimeter road that goes around PIER 39’s property (except at K-Dock where the sea lions are located) and off of the fishing pier at Pier 41, located adjacent to PIER 39.  All licensing, rules and regulations set forth by the California Department of Fish & Wildlife must be followed.

Where can I find information about California?

The California Welcome Center, the Official State Visitor Center in San Francisco, provides valuable information on what to see and do in San Francisco and throughout the State of California. The Center is located on Level 2 of PIER 39 and is open daily from 11am to 5pm (excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas Day).
