From Friday, October 9 – Sunday, October 11, the waterfront becomes the stage for the annual Fleet Week Air Shows, with high-flying performances taking place between the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz from 12 PM – 4 PM each day.
Watch the skies come alive with an impressive lineup of military and civilian aircraft, including the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor Demo Team, U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Demo Team and the United Airlines 777. The show even features the only fully choreographed commercial airliner act in the United States, performed by the United 777!

On Friday, October 9, from 11 AM – 12 PM, watch as an impressive procession of military and other vessels makes its way into San Francisco Bay, sailing beneath the Golden Gate Bridge and along the waterfront. The parade stretches from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Bay Bridge, making PIER 39’s waterfront location a prime spot to take in the action.
The free event kicks off with the San Francisco Fire Department’s fire boat leading the procession, complete with jets of water shooting into the air to welcome the Fleet.
